Dealing
with the Dealer

-
If
a dealer should hit hard 17, the hit card is
to be buri and the original 17 stands.
-
If player asks for reshuffle before the deck
is played o dealer will get OK from floorman
before doing so. If practice is once started
of shuffling at player's request, y would be
spending too much time shuffling. [creator's
no1 This is also a great way to get rid of a
poor deck!
-
The more hands you can deal without running
over t players, the better game you will have.
Keep a good, stea pace at all times.
-
Make sure all bets are inside box. Anything
outside of is not bet.
-
When hitting your hand, spread cards out, side
by si This way the floorman and "eye"
can read all cards easily.
-
Dealing cards will always be from left to
right. Clo case the bets on the first and
last hands. These are the likely spots for
players to pinch (reduce) or press (in-crease)
bets after receiving cards.
-
Right-handed dealers take and pay from right
to left. Left-handed dealers take and pay
from left to right, Leave Blackjacks on table
and pay on final pickup.
-
A player playing more than one hand must play
each hand in turn, although he may look at
all of them, unless the floorman knows the
player is a counter; then he cannot look at
all of them.
-
A player doubling down must have the same
bet as the original, unless you feel he is
down to his last money; then he could double
any part of same.
-
When paying bets, size into stacks. No capping
of bets at any time when paying Blackjacks.
Make two even stacks-size into same three
times-then if you have an odd check, pay it
last.
-
When player cuts cards, make sure he gives
square cut; also, five or more cards.
-
At no time, for any reason, is the dealer
to take his eyes off the deck, keeping one
hand by the deck while it is being cut.
-
Never deal more hands than boxes on table.
